Five star service at three star prices!

My wife and I spent part of our honeymoon here and it was the highlight of our trip. First off, the island of São Miguel is stunningly beautiful and is an easy place for visitors. As for the hotel experience: Francisco, the hotel manager, was incredibly hospitable and personable. He spent an astonishing amount of time making sure we were comfortable, and made himself available for anything we needed - from advice on what to see/do, where to eat, and anything else for that matter. I can't say enough about how awesome he was. I own a small business, and I seriously wish my employees were all like him.

The room was perfect. It's clean, quiet and you get plenty of privacy. You get a full suite, including a completely stocked kitchen (we made breakfast and lunch here often), a living room, good sized bedroom with a comfy bed, and a patio with deck chairs and a table for el fresco living. This was the nicest place we stayed in Portugal, and at a nice price point. The food was great too, and stood out from many of the restaurants we visited on the trip.
